Learning Objectives

By the end of these four hours, your students will be able to:

Lesson One (one hour)

• Describe the pro’s and con’s of hands on assists
• Describe three ways of asking permission
• Identify how clarity and connection show up in hands on assists
• Describe the difference between a student and teacher directed assists

Lesson Two (one hour)

• Assess the appropriateness of hands on assists
• Identify different kinds of teacher directed hands on assists
• Deliver effective inquisitive and stabilizing student driven assists

Lesson Three (two hours)

• Create and give appropriate and safe safe hands on assists for key postures
• Apply hands on assists techniques while students practice in a vinyasa style
