  • Students will describe the three ways that the human body discharges excess heat and how these channels are impacted by a hot yoga environment, 
  • Students will describe the differences between heat cramps, heat stroke, and heat exhaustion.
  • Students will identify which populations need to exercise caution in practicing hot yoga and why, 
  • Students will identify best practices for supporting their own students in safe heat management while teaching a hot or warm class.
