Learning Objectives

By the end of these four hours, your students will be able to:

Lesson One (2.5 hours)

  • Describe the purpose of theming
  • Describe the difference between explicit and implicit theming
  • Apply the five steps of theming to a personal story, and plan a theme for application in a peak pose class

Lesson Two (2-3 hours)

  • Students will present philosophical concepts as if they are teaching them through theming to a yoga class
  • Students will gain confidence in holding space as a teacher
