*Google slides are an online version of Powerpoint. They’re awesome and I love them. However, they require an internet connection. If you don’t have internet, you can download and use the Powerpoint file instead.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this lesson, your students will be able to:

  • Define chakra
  • Describe “prana” in their own words
  • Describe the basic attributes of each chakra: its related element, mantra, and yantra
  • Describe the correlation between each chakra and what it governs from a modern psychology perspective
  • Through the lens of the model of the chakras, identify two self-care strategies that would support you to feel more balanced
